Tonight I saw Oskar Eustis, Rinne Groff, Stephen Adly Guirgis, Richard Nelson, and Tony Kushner engage in a panel discussion about Arthur Miller. That one panda on the left demonstrates how I felt about both my capabilities as a theatre-maker as well as my knowledge of theatre in general after hearing them speak.
It was still super awesome, though.

I love my job and I love the people I’m living with and I love this rain and I love this book that I’m reading and goddamit I love this city, I don’t know if I want to live here/can ever live here, but regardless I can’t imagine thinking of this city without thinking about how much I love it (trying to keep up with it is certainly a challenge but I am challenging myself) and I’ve started writing something that I’m genuinely excited about and I finally feel like I’m no longer wasting any time, and I certainly hope that this feeling goes on for a little while because after the challenges of last semester I think I can use some serenity.
